Embedding tweets from twitter is no longer a tough task. You can easily embed twitter tweets just by copying the code from Twitter. Twitter now has an official embed link that would enable users to embed tweets with ease. Once the tweet is embedded directly onto an article on a website the tweets become interactive and your readers can follow the author or re-tweet from the blog post itself. So let me explain this procedure in a simpler manner.
Tweets that you see on Twitter has got an “Embed Tweet” link . For example, take a look at the above screenshot , I’m sure I don’t need to write anymore about it as the picture explains it all. But still for the sake of completing the article i will continue
Steps you need to follow:
- Choose the tweet you want to embed and click on the “…More” button
- Embed this tweet dialog box provides you the code and also the preview on how the tweet would actually look once embedded successfully
- Copy the code from the box and paste it on your articles and publish the post, as simple as that
You can even change the width , height and alignment of the tweets. By default tweets are displayed as its shown on twitter.com . A few changes in the code will give you the desired result. Check the below code where I have made some changes
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" width="550"></script>
In similar manner you can even change the alignment of your tweets. Just by adding align=”center” align=”right” or align=”left” will change the position of your tweets.
blockquote class="twitter-tweet" align="center">…</blockquote>
